What is Bhakti yoga?
It is the yoga of devotion, of emotion, of love. All this is required is an open, loving heart. No prior experience in this type of yoga or yoga at all is necessary to join this retreat. We will explore this path of yoga through its constituent elements including study of ancient scriptures, reciting powerful mantras, performing rituals, selfless service or karma yoga, and kirtan or devotional singing. Of course we will blend this with our customary twice a day yoga and meditation practice, but with the intention of dedicating this week together towards something more than the physical.
Suan Sati is proud to be hosting a special 6 day, 5 night retreat focused on bhakti yoga January 27th – February 1st
